Aldeburgh has some excellent restaurants and some of the world’s greatest Fish & Chips.

The RSPB’s Minsmere Bird Reserve is only a couple of miles away. Click here for recent sightings.

A new highlight is Iken Canoe on the beautiful upper reaches of the river Alde near Snape.

Snape Maltings concert hall - home of the world famous Aldeburgh festival - is under 15 minutes drive.

Aldeburgh and Southwold have popular beaches and trendy shops with plenty to see and do.





QUITE INTERESTING FACT: Middleton (Middleltuna) is mentioned in the Domesday Book.


Just as close, Framlingham and Orford both have cracking castles and loads of history.
